How do I rent items?
Send us a list of your desired items along with the date(s) of the event and we will send you a itemized list.
Can I rent your items without using your design services?
Absolutely! Look at our Rentals Page, make a list of the rentals you are interested in and click the Quote Button to send us uour request. We will get back with you with an itemized quote in 1-2 business days!
Am I liable for any damages that occur to rental items during my event?
Yes client's are liable for all damages. We have a detailed rental contract that you will sign prior to rental. We understand accidents happen. If we think we can mend the item we will give you a quote to repair. If the item needs replacement the cost typically starts at 3x the rental fee and up depending on the item.
Is there a rain out clause?
No there is no rain out clause. The cost of the rental is non-refundable and is required in full to reserve your date. We can transfer your rental to another agreed upon date.
Are your rental items exposed to animals?
All of our rental items are exposed to various home and venue conditions. Unfortunately we are not able to regulate item exposures. Most of our rental items are vintage and antique pieces as well. We clean soiled items and vacuum fabric prior to rentals to the best of our ability.
What condition should I return items to you?
All rental items should be returned in the packaging and condition as received which includes wiping down items if needed with a damp cloth and removing all debris and wax.
What types of rental drop off an pick up options do you have?
We are a family run company. That being said, our Delivery and Pick up services may not be available for every request. Please reserve early. Delivery and pick up services only offered to rental orders of $200+. If you are a Reality on Monroe client, please contact us if your order does not meet the requirement, but you are needing delivery.
We offer a $40 delivery fee for each truck load of rental items requiring a single delivery person within the Bloomington/Normal cities, any additional truck loads, additional delivery people or distance beyond Bloomington/Normal may be at an additional cost.
Pick up and drop off are charged separately.
We also offer for client's to pick up and drop off from our showroom at NO additional cost.
We will charge an additional packaging fee for any items we need to unstock or restock into individualized packaging (for our breakable items). Cost depending on item. Cost is figured into set up or break down fees.
WE WILL NOT BREAK DOWN ITEMS WE DID NOT SET UP. We expect for items we pick up to be replaced back into packaging as they arrived at your site.
Night break downs/pick up deliveries will not be completed unless the client has a design package with us. If they do this will still be at an additional cost. Final deliveries/pick ups are completed no later than 6:30. Late night breakdown at an additional fee upon request.
When can we pick up our items for our event? Drop off?
The rental period is typically Friday - Monday, unless otherwise stated in contract. All drop offs and pick ups are by appointment ONLY. We are open to reasonable exceptions, however these need to be pre-planned.
